Now after all these people went to Draenor and saw that warped little alternate, they think that our Draenor used to be just like this. Well, you’re squawking wrong. For example, you can find hardly any arakkoa outside of the Spires of Arak, and I come from Farahlon, which you lot didn’t even go to. I mean, I’ve even heard some rumors it doesn’t exist over there. And that’s nonsense again, you can’t have geological differences between different timelines, not without Deathwing to mess the land up for laughs. So people say, how did your family come to Farahlon? How did this Veil Krasha even exist? Well, I’m no Reshad, but let me tell you a story.

The Founding of Veil Krasha
Finding his place
Well, well, I haven’t written on this myself for a while now. Partially because there wasn’t much happening. Actually, now that I think of it, there were things happening. Not all of them I can recall at moment’s notice, such is my memory at my age, but most recently I decided I needed to exert some more direct control over this rift. I mean, I now have some interest in the Draenor I could find on the other side and the exit suddenly drifting away from it would be most unfortunate. So against my better judgment, I decided to use the services of an ethereal I knew, Shazaad, to find a way to control the rift better.
Not quite a mirror image
Viryx recently gave us a new mission. The Apexis artifacts he gathered in the Spires weren’t enough for him, apparently and he decided he needs more power to dominate the lower races. So he gave us a new mission – to go out into all of our continent and look for Apexis artifacts wherever they may be. I was sent with the people under my command to fly all the way to Gorgrond, where the core of the Apexis civilization once was, before the Breakers took over and ruined Northern Gorgrond. Let me tell you, that is a rather insane mission. No, it’s the right area to search for these… but Gorgrond is one of the most savage and treacherous places on this planet. It’s almost a suicide mission. Almost – not for someone with my skills. But that’s not what I wanted to talk about. That would be the other me. The corrupted alternate future me.
Frostfire Ridge
Recently, Krasha reactivated some kind of magical rift he once had in his basement. I am told he used this to get into some other timeline that he then couldn’t get out of. Naturally, I doubted at least a large part of the story he told us, as did everyone else. Would you believe if your absent-minded employer told you a story about how he saved an alternate timeline and personally healed Jaina Proudmoore from a poison inflicted on her by Kel’thuzad himself? It sounds like a pretty tall story… until you get to realize it’s all true. Or at least it’s mostly true, as I recently had the chance to experience this alternate timeline, albeit from a completely different angle.
