As Verroak’s Alliance servants have learned, there is a shadowy cabal of semi-villainous individuals that call themselves “the Lesser Evils”. Verroak considers this name “ironic”, saying they simply choose “the lesser evil” and do what needs to be done for progress and the greater good. Formed after Verroak has confronted an Avatar of Sargeras and survived, these folks scheme from the shadows and while they’re all independent, they will help each other in hopes of others returning the favor later. Here’s what is known, so far, about the group’s members.
Verroak Krasha (founder): As you know, an elderly arakkoa alchemist and druid with a penchant for science. Verroak hires a number of monstrous individuals to give them a chance to do something useful, instead of living in the hills and attacking passers by. Verroak has extensive alchemy production and research facilities off-world, although not everyone believes it’s all true. Some believe he is, in fact, just a petty crime lord holed up on some remote island.
Arcanist Shazaad (founder): An ethereal researcher of Titan technology and a long-time ally of Krasha’s, Shazaad is a recluse living on the far ends of space. Nevertheless, his discoveries occasionally make their way to Azeroth and fetch hefty sums.
Azj’Aqir (founder): An ancient tol’vir sorcerer, Azj’Aqir possesses a scepter that lets him control swarms of silithids and, since recently, aqir. In addition to this, he has recruited a few qiraji and free-willed Titan constructs to do his bidding. His ultimate goals are nebulous since every time he surfaces, he only seeks to control more bugs. What he intends to do with them is seldom relevant, until he decides to take revenge on someone.
Guo Shou (founder, expelled): A spirit of a mogu from the times of Lei Shen, he hops from one stone body to another, caring little for their size, material or gender. Currently in possession of a rare, female body, Guo Shou has recently assaulted another Lesser Evil, Azj’Aqir, for which he was expelled from the group. Now in control of the Korune Clan, he seeks to control what remains of the Sha, as well as the newly emerged aberrations.
Rafaam the Supreme Archaeologist (founder, left): Rafaam was part of the original contract between the Lesser Evils, seeking to plunder Azeroth’s many dungeons for untold riches, which were his only goals. After he felt the others weren’t doing enough for him, Rafaam left to form his own group and plunder Dalaran.
Lord Iblis: A strange djinn encountered by Krasha’s officers in the Firelands, Iblis is a subtle manipulator who’s chief goal is simply influence. He wants to pull the strings of everyone in the cosmos and therefore be the real master of the universe, without formal titles. Iblis has encountered little success in his endeavors, but his agents can be occasionally encountered if you know who to look for.
Azhuul’Mehab: The nerubian queen of the Sundered Monolith, she leads a clandestine enclave of surviving living nerubians. She frequently claims she hates most of the other Lesser Evils and works with them only out of convenience.
Blood-Thane Utarefson: A strange vrykul warlord with an unusually strong berserking bloodthirst. Little is known of him.
Sra’va Vor: Known to be formerly associated with the Klaxxi, Sra’va Vor will claim he has no love for the Old Gods, but is otherwise mysterious.
Unknown ogre mage
Unknown lich/warlock
“The green naaru”
“Mr. Bruno”, an average looking human in a monk-like robe.
An unknown number of lesser “contractors”.
Ughul the Cancer (aspiring): Formerly a prisoner of Krasha’s, Ughul bought his way to freedom. A primordial saurok in possession of a mogu flesh-shaping device, he’s a consummate genetic engineer, creating various monsters of his own creation, and attempting to perfect the saurok race. The Lesser Evils felt he couldn’t pull his own weight in comparison to them and wanted him to work more on his own, for which he promised to prove them one day they made a mistake.
Wrathion (denied): The Lesser Evils attempted to recruit Wrathion into their ranks multiple times, but every time they were denied or their agents were misled by Blacktalon Agents and left with nothing. Wrathion clearly considers the organization beneath him.
