Religion: Balerok doesn’t follow any religion. Balerok’s creator tried to get him into that old god craziness, but Balerok refused.

Place of Residence: Currently, Alchemy Lab, Lehba Island. Formerly, Wrathion’s Den, and before that, somewhere hidden in Blackrock Mountain.
Friends and associates: Arakkoa known as Ikkrus is Balerok’s only friend, but Balerok will pretty much associate with anyone. Balerok is rather fond of Verroak, Jhuuton, Menrim, and Aeresham though.
Romantic Partners: Balerok doesn’t like romance.
Pets: Balerok has plenty of experiment mice named Eric. Do they count?
Mounts: Balerok has no mounts.
Languages: Common, Draconic, Gnomish, Goblin, Kalimag
Most Important Value: Putting knowledge above morals.

Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?

Balerok’s father was Nefarian. Balerok believes you can figure the answer out for yourself, but if not, Nefarian wasn’t a very good father. He would punish Balerok a lot for his failures. That said, Nefarian did give Balerok plenty of reagents and specimens to experiment with. Balerok cannot get along with Nefarian now because Nefarian is dead.

What are your character’s most prominent physical features?

Balerok doesn’t really have prominent physical feature. His teeth are pretty sharp though. Balerok doesn’t know why Nefarian created them to be so sharp. Balerok’s eyes are also pretty good at seeing in dark places.

Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don’t have any, is there a reason?

Balerok tries to heal all his scars with his regenerative tissue elixirs. Right now though he has a scar on his muzzle that a rude satyr gave him recently. Balerok figures it’ll be gone in a few weeks though.

How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?

Balerok is very vain, but Balerok doesn’t think he is attractive. Balerok just believes his alchemy skills are near legendary.

What’s your character’s ranking on the Kinsey Scale?

Balerok would not be on this scale. Balerok does not have any sexual interest.

Describe your character’s happiest memory.

When Balerok got to cut into his first living specimen. Good times. Balerok misses those days of having his claws covered in blood. So warm, and red… Uh. Balerok is going to stop there.

Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?

Balerok accidentally created a gas that killed an entire batch of Balerok’s kin. They should have been wearing masks like Balerok was. Still, Balerok regrets killing a few of his brothers.

What’s your character’s favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?

Ice Cream: Balerok likes the bacon ice cream he created in his lab a few years ago.
Color: Red, for obvious reasons.
Song: Balerok doesn’t have a favorite song. Balerok listens to a variety of musical genres.
Flower: Talandra’s Rose. So much potential.

Who does your character trust?

Balerok does not trust anyone. Everyone has the potential to betray Balerok.

Can you define a turning point in your character’s life? Multiples are acceptable.

Getting employed by Verroak was pretty big. Balerok now gets to play with so many ingredients, that it is so different than how things used to be for Balerok.

Is there an animal you equate with your character?

Balerok likes owls. No real reason. He just thinks owls look cool. Balerok should get an owl.

How is your character with technology? Super savvy, or way behind the times? Letters or email?

Balerok is good with technology, but he has a much better knowledge of alchemy than engineering. Probably more than average technology experience though.

What does your character’s bed look like when he/she wakes up? Are the covers off on one side of the bed, are they all curled around a pillow, sprawled everywhere? In what position might they sleep?

Balerok sleeps on a hammock in his storage room. Balerok doesn’t need a fancy bed. It’d be too weird and new for Balerok.

How does your character react to temperature changes such as extreme heat and cold?

Balerok wouldn’t mind extreme heat as he was born in Blackrock Mountain. He hates cold though. Would be very bad.

Is your character an early morning bird or a night owl?

That depends on what Balerok is working on. Many late nights if working on a project.

Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones? Cousins, Uncles, Grandfathers, Aunts, et cetera. Are there any others that your character practically considers a blood relative?

Balerok supposes that technically Wrathion is related to Balerok as Nefarian’s blood was used to make Balerok? Balerok liked Wrathion.

What’s your character’s desk/workspace look like? Are they neat or messy?

Balerok likes to refer to it as organized chaos. Others might think it messy, but Balerok knows where everything is.

Is your character a good cook? What’s their favorite recipe, whether they’re good or not? (Microwave mac-and-cheese applies.)

Balerok has still been trying to duplicate Sednaq’s cooking abilities through science, but has yet to succeed. Cooking is such a bizarre science. Balerok doesn’t like his own cooking though.

What’s your character’s preferred means of travel?

Balerok likes traveling by portal. It’s fast and efficient.

Does your character have any irrational fears?

Balerok has a fear of swimming. He’s not used to being exposed to a lot of water.

What would your character’s cutie mark be?

Meat cleaver.

If your character could time travel, where would they go?

Balerok is sure he could time travel if he wanted too. Balerok just isn’t interested in going to the past. Too much paradox mumbo jumbo. Gives Balerok headaches.

Is your character superstitious?

Balerok doesn’t believe in silly superstitions.

What might your character’s ideal romantic partner be?

Balerok doesn’t really care for romance.

Balerok has scaled claws that you probably don’t want scratching you in the face with. Sometimes Balerok has trouble holding beakers with his claws.

Outfit: Balerok wears the same style outfit everyday, so he doesn’t really have a favorite.
Drink: BaleSip. Balerok made his own beverage. No you can’t taste it.

Describe your character’s fighting style.

Balerok likes using his pistol as well as bombs containing his alchemical solutions. If need be, Balerok now keeps his sharpened cleaver with him. Balerok is still working on improving his fighting style though.

If your character’s life was a genre, what would it be?

Probably political drama. Lots of leaders in Balerok’s life with lots of drama.

How does your character smell? Do they wear perfume or cologne?

Balerok doesn’t think he really has a smell. He also doesn’t wear perfume.

If your character could contact him/herself 20 years ago, what would she/he say?

Balerok doubts one year old Balerok would be able to remember anything Balerok says to him.
