Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?

My parents always tried to do what was best for me. They were sometimes mistaken about it, like the time they insisted I married a good fisherman to ensure myself a “better future”, but they never had bad intentions for me. We write sometimes and I often tell them some of the crazy stories my co-workers bring – if the boss allows, of course.

What are your character’s most prominent physical features?

If you listened to my boss, it would be the size of my tusks. Tusks being an euphemism for something. chuckles

How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?

Given the amount of attention I got back in Northrend, I’m pretty sure I’m attractive.

What’s your character’s ranking on the Kinsey Scale?

I only date men. Sorry, ladies.

Describe your character’s happiest memory.

Winning that cooking competition. I was happy that I’d be able to stand on my own. Of course, tuskarrs still preferred to marry me rather than hire, but I found a good job in the end.

Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?

There was one particular suitor who wouldn’t understand “no”. In the end, he attacked me with two goons, but I beaten up him and one of the goons, and got an orc to help me with the last guy. It ended up well, but I’d rather not have to remember his kind.

What’s your character’s favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?

I like a lot of different tastes. Perhaps… strawberry would be at the top, loosely.
White. Maybe it’s stereotypical, but I just adore the look of clean sheets, glistening in the light.
Solitary Man. Or woman, in my case.
Call me strange, but I like the smell of carnations.

Who does your character trust?

There really are certain levels of trust. I trust my cooking aide will not add too much salt. I trust Yu Gwai will protect me from bad guys. I trust my boss will pay me. I trust my parents with my life.

Can you define a turning point in your character’s life? Multiples are acceptable.

So probably that competition again. It really opened a lot of doors. Most of them bedroom doors, but still…

Is there an animal you equate with your character?

I’m going to be stereotypical again and say walrus.

How is your character with technology? Super savvy, or way behind the times? Letters or email?

I don’t feel the urge to update every little thing I do on this Tweeter thing, but I love modern cooking implements. I first learned to cook with simple iron knives, forks and fireplaces. Now I can put a dish in a machine and it gets baked all on its own.

What does your character’s bed look like when he/she wakes up? Are the covers off on one side of the bed, are they all curled around a pillow, sprawled everywhere? In what position might they sleep?

When I wake up it’s a bit torn up, but I very quickly clean it up. I hate mess like that.

How does your character react to temperature changes such as extreme heat and cold?

I tolerate heat better than most tuskarrs, but I think all of us could do it. I’ve seen many individuals fall over and yell “I’m dying!” in warmer climates, but they’re just not used to it. Icecrown, though, that place is cold.

Is your character an early morning bird or a night owl?

I prefer to get up early and have everything done and out of my hair before evening. I hate that nagging feeling I’ve got something to do.

Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones?

I’m not very close with her, but I have an aunt, my mother’s sister, who wanted to be a professional cook like me too. She wasn’t as successful as I am, but she loves hearing from me.

What’s your character’s desk/workspace look like? Are they neat or messy?

It’s a professional kitchen, there’s no place for mess in it. If I see my aides trying to pass a dirty plate, I give them a right scolding.

Is your character a good cook? What’s their favorite recipe, whether they’re good or not? (Microwave mac-and-cheese applies.)

Are you kidding me? Cooking is my life. I doubt even those adventurers with their fancy Draenor recipes are as good as I am.
My favorite recipe… oh, there’s so much to choose from! Probably rhinolicious worm steak, but only with some personal additions.

What’s your character’s preferred means of travel?

I like traveling by ship. You can’t get everywhere that way, but I like the calm feeling of a sea breeze.

Does your character have any irrational fears?

I used to feel a bit queasy about arakkoa, the look so strange, but I got used to it.

What would your character’s cutie mark be?

Probably something like a frying pan, or a chef’s hat.

If your character could time travel, where would they go?

No time like the present. Maybe some future when less tuskarr women are treated like baby-making machines.

Is your character superstitious?

I know some Alliance types like to call our shamanistic beliefs superstitions but it’s all true. I’ve seen it all happen. Maybe our gods don’t have much power over here, but I still believe in them.

What might your character’s ideal romantic partner be?

Someone charming, with a nice smile and non-possessive.

Describe your character’s hands. Are they small, long, calloused, smooth, stubby?

I keep my hands in the best possible condition, but the years of work are slowly starting to take their toil.

Second day of favorites! Favorite comfort food, favorite vice, favorite outfit, favorite hot drink, favorite time of year, and favorite holiday.

Self-made meringues. If I get sad or nostalgic I just make myself a bunch of them and gobble them up over the evening.
Depends who you ask. Maybe gluttony, maybe lust. Life is meant to be enjoyed, you know.
I prefer practical clothes, but I do have a fancy dress I bought for official parties, although I hardly have any these days.
Warm mulled cider with ginger. Ah, the smell.
Probably summer. I know, strange for a tuskarr.
Harvest Festival. It’s always a challenge to make enough for everyone.

Describe your character’s fighting style.

I don’t really fight. If I have to, I’ll punch someone in a sensitive spot, or hit them with a pan, but it’s not really my thing.

If your character’s life was a genre, what would it be?

It probably wouldn’t make for a very interesting story.

How does your character smell? Do they wear perfume or cologne?

I smell mostly of kitchen, I imagine.

If your character could contact him/herself 20 years ago, what would she/he say?

You’re on the right path, keep going.
